A few years ago, I had the pleasure to be Estefanía and Benji’s destination wedding photographer as they got married in Valle de Bravo, Mexico State. This city is known as Pueblo Mágico, “magic city”, because you can be in touch with the beautiful nature, the weather is very pleasant and you can practise water sports in the picturesque Valle de Bravo lake.
The religious ceremony took place in Valle de Bravo Cathedral followed by a beautiful reception held in Hotel Hridaya overlooking the lake. The wedding celebration was incredibly cosy and friends and family eagerly took part in all aspects of Estefanía and Benji’s special day. The wedding was full of fun, laughter and music, as the DJ made sure the bride and groom danced together with their guests until the early hours of the morning.

Recently I went to the Mayan Palace Resort, located in the centre of Vidanta in the Riviera Maya, for a Trash the Dress session with Estefanía and Benji. The location offers a stunning view over the Caribbean Sea, so in order to make use of the early morning sunlight and capture the Caribbean sunrise, we started the photo session at 6:30am. As you can see from the photos, we had the beach to ourselves and the shoot was a huge success and we all had a great time.
